600mm Spacing

Posi-Joists are typically spaced at 600mm centre to centre, this gives the best cost to span to deflection ratio.

You can reduce the spacing to 400mm centre to centre, This allows longer spans or reduce the designed deflection.

You will of course need more for your project, but you can outweigh this by the resulting stiffer floors with less “Bounce” and deflection.
